Deals of the Year 2023: Covid-delayed deal opens up Nordic markets for Tricel

In a major international expansion by an Irish manufacturing group, Tricel acquired the Danish wastewater treatment system specialist, Biokube, expanding its geographic footprint into the Nordic market and expanding its range of products.
The transaction, which wins the Mergers & Acquisitions SME, International Acquisition award, sees Tricel open the Nordic market for its products as well as opening up the international market for Biokube’s products (Tricel operates in over 50 countries).
