A large finance facility, arranged by a German asset manager, shows how investor demand for ESG exposure can aid in the funding of high quality social housing in Ireland.
The winner of the Loans and Financing Housing Finance – Development Deal of the Year is MEAG – New Build Financing. The deal was arranged by German asset manager, Munich Ergo Asset Management (MEAG, the asset management arm of Munich Re), and involved a number of investors committing facilities of €310m to be used to invest in social housing in Ireland.
