Colin has over 20 years’ of experience providing assurance services. Colin joined Grant Thornton in 1999 and was appointed partner in 2001, having previously worked as a manager in a Big Four firm specialising in insurance.

Colin was recently appointed the head of the financial services audit practice in order to develop the firms capabilities in asset management, aviation, banking, insurance and the greater regulated space. This investment in resources and capabilities was driven by Mandatory EU Audit rotation. Grant Thornton has become a service provider of choice for many large Public Interest Entities (“PIE’s) as they navigate through a significant period of change.

Career:

He has extensive audit experience in Ireland and the United Kingdom with clients in the financial services industry including asset management, banking and insurance. Colin has worked on large audit and advisory engagements throughout his career which included a global dimension and consequently required significant global collaboration.
