BBPM Life dac
BBPM Life dac, formerly Vera Finacial dac and prior to that The Lawrence Life Assurance Company Ltd, was an Irish subsidiary of Unipol group based in Italy. It began trading in December 1999 and was acquired in November 2017 by Gruppo Cattolica. Banco BPM acquired the company in December 2023 and renamed the Irish company BBPM Life DAC.
The company develops class III assurance products for sales networks throughout the European Community on a freedom of service basis. The company continues to develop new products for new and existing distribution channels in the European market, including assurance wrappings over financial products or managed accounts. The company's products are distributed in Italy and are also sold in Belgian, Dutch and Luxembourgish markets.
