Formerly Aviva Life International, it was acquired by Utmost in 2016 and renamed Harcourt Life International. The group has acquired a number of closed book undertakings including Scottish Mutual International dac, Augura Life Ireland dac and Union Heritage Life Assurance Company dac as well as the investment bond businesses of AXA Life Europe and Athora Ireland.
