Formerly Metzler Ireland Ltd, Universal-Investment Ireland is an Irish fund management and fund administration company established to provide investment management/ administration services to investors in collective investment schemes or funds. Metzler Ireland was incorporated in Ireland on 8 August 1994 and was subsequently acquired by Universal-Investment Group in May 2021 as part of the company's goal to become a leading European funds platform and management company.
The addition of an Irish fund service platform is part of the internationalisation strategy of the Frankfurt-headquartered Universal-Investment Group and becomes its third funds hub, joining Frankfurt and Luxembourg.
