Shannon Engine Support (SES) is a wholly owned subsidiary of CFM which in turn is a joint venture established by General Electric Company and Snecma (SAFRAN Group). In November 2021 AerCap acquired General Electric company's interest in SES through its acquisition of GECAS. Through a portfolio of both owned and managed engines, the company has access to over 250 CFM56 engines (CFM56-3, CFM56-5A, CFM56-5B, CFM56-5C and CFM56-7B variants) making the company the largest CFM56 lessor worldwide, supporting over 140 airline and MRO customers around the globe. SES headquarters are located in Shannon, Ireland with additional offices in Beijing and Singapore.
