Previously known as Scottish Provident Inst., Scottish Provident demutualised and became part of the Abbey National Group in August 2001. Scottish Provident closed to new business in August 2001. It previously sold protection, investment and pension products to Irish residents and continues to administer the closed book of business. We moved the pension and investment business within Scottish Provident Limited into Phoenix Life Limited on 6 February 2009
