Based in Dublin, ORIX Aviation is a major aircraft owner, lessor, asset manager and arranger with a diversified portfolio of aircraft and aviation related investments. In 2018 Orix Aviation acquired a 30 per cent stake in the world’s third largest aircraft lessor, Avolon, from Bohai Capital.
Orix Aviation Systems Limited and ORIX Ireland Limited are both fully-owned subsidiaries of Japan’s Orix Corporation, a diversified financial services group that was a pioneer of leasing business in Japan in the 1960s and 1970s before it expanded into other financial services including financing, investment, life insurance, banking, asset management, automobile-related services, real estate, environment and energy services.
