Hawthorn Life dac
Established in 2004 and based in Swords, Co Dublin, Hartford Life dac (HLD) was the European subsidiary of The Hartford. In December 2013 Columbia Insurance Company, a Berkshire Hathaway company, completed the acquisition of Hartford Life Limited from The Hartford Financial Services Group and subsequently changed its name to Hawthorn Life Limited.
