Hamilton Insurance dac
Formerly Ironshore Europe dac, Hamilton Group acquired the company from Liberty Mutual in 2019, renaming it Hamilton Insurance DAC. The company was incorporated in 2010 in response to heightened global demand for insurance coverages of complex risk. The Dublin-based platform provides Hamilton Group non-Lloyd’s capabilities and access to the US (via excess and surplus lines licensing and reinsurance permissions) and to EU markets (via passporting rights).
Hamilton Insurance DAC is licenced to write business as an insurer and reinsurer in all classes of business (excluding motor and travel assistance) in a number of countries throughout the world.
