Haitong Investment Ireland plc

Formerly Espirito Santo Investment plc, Haitong Investment Ireland plc is a wholly owned subsidiary of Haitong International Holdings Limited, a company headquartered in Hong Kong. The Irish company is engaged in the issuance of debt securities (some of which are listed on Euronext Dublin); the extension of credit to counterparties which are typically corporate entities; trading securities for its own account as well as entering into derivatives contracts to manage the risks derived from those activities.

The group is also invested in Haitong Private Equity Fund, a private equity fund registered with the Portuguese regulator Comissao do Mercado de Valores Mobiliarios (CMVM). The ultimate Parent of the Group is Haitong Securities Co., Ltd. headquartered in Shanghai, China.
