The Dublin Citi Service Centre is a strategically important location for both Operations and Technology functions. The Service Centre has seen a continued growth in technology which is focused on product innovation and application development 'making Dublin a global hub for application development and architecture, including; mobile architecture and engineering; solutions architecture and development; engineering and test automation', according to the bank.
Citi’s Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) and Innovation Lab, Dublin is a provider of integrated cash management and trade finance solutions to multinational corporations, financial institutions and public sector organisations. In support of that, Citi opened its first Innovation Lab in 2009. 'The Labs’ resident teams of emerging technology experts, treasury services specialists and human-centred design agents aim to transform treasury solutions through discovery and co-creation”, Citi said.
Citi Treasury and Trade Solutions has created and piloted Citi Token Services for cash management and trade finance. The service uses blockchain and smart contract technologies to deliver digital asset solutions for institutional clients. Citi Token Services plans to integrate tokenised bank deposits and smart contracts into Citi’s global network, upgrading core cash management and trade finance capabilities. These services sit upon the platform conceived and built in Dublin and is now expanding globally.
