Cardinal Reinsurance dac
Cardinal Reinsurance dac, formerly Mitsui Sumitomo Reinsurance Limited (MSRe), was placed into runoff on January 1st 2013 with its owner MS Frontier Reinsurance Limited subsequently selling the business to ILS Property and Casualty Re Limited, a Bermuda based reinsurance specialist regulated by the Bermuda Monetary Authority.
As part of the sales agreement MSRe has changed its name to Cardinal Reinsurance Designated Activity Company (Cardinal Re). Cardinal Re has entered into outsourcing agreements with both Quest Consulting (London) Ltd and Armour Risk Management Ltd.
