1. International financial services institutions operating in Ireland are represented by the Federation of International Banks in Ireland (FIBI), which is affiliated to BPFI. FIBI members provide a wide range of wholesale financial services including corporate, investment, treasury, capital markets and international financial services.
2. The domestic or high street banks in Ireland provide a range of critical services to consumers and businesses communities including a variety of lending, savings and investment products, as well as the payment services, all of which support economic activity.
3. The Fintech and Payments Association of Ireland (FPAI) is a not for profit organisation established to further the interests of the stakeholders in the Irish Fintech ecosystem. FPAI has been an affiliate of BPFI since 2018 and through this partnership delivers an ambitious agenda for the Irish Fintech sector, which involves over 800 members from over 230 companies.
4. Payments - The Irish Payments Council (IPC) provides strategic direction and leadership for the payments sector in Ireland. It keeps members informed of developments at National, EU and International level relating to payment services, systems and schemes and promotes the development of innovation in electronic payments leading to enhanced customer advocacy.
5. Recognising the potential that exists to build on strong working relationships with internationally represented firms providing professional and consultancy services to our members, BPFI has established a formal network for firms known as BPFI Associates which provides a range of benefits for participants.
