Bank of Montreal Europe plc
Bank of Montreal Europe plc (BME) is a credit institution licenced by the Cental Bank of Ireland and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bank of Montreal. Since its formation in 1996, BME has provided a European banking platform for BMO Financial Group. BME offers a broad product suite to clients including corporate banking, capital markets and treasury management, as well as research and advisory services. BME's clients and counterparties are institutional in nature and generally include other financial institutions, large corporates, sovereigns, and private equity funds which are based primarily in Europe and outside of North America. BME is headquartered in Dublin and has a branch in Paris.
Bank of Montreal has another subsidiary in Ireland, BMO Ireland Finance Company Unlimited Company, the principle activity of which is the origination and provision of loans to other BMO Financial Group companies.
