Alcatel-Lucent's Global Financial Services Centre (GFSC) was established in Ireland in April 1998 and has grown from an initial headcount of four people to almost 80 people. It is a worldwide transaction processing centre for billing, invoicing, cash receipts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue accounts, expenses, and inter-entity cost accounting.
