Established in 1973, the IAPF represents Irish pension savers. Its members are responsible for some €153.9 billion (end 2019 figure) in retirement savings in Ireland. The IAPF seeks to educate, represent and inform its members with a view to achieving secure, fair and simple retirement provision. It provides education to its members through Conferences, Seminars, and Trustee Training Courses. It represents the interest of members at all levels by actively lobbying with Government Departments and Agencies, the Pensions Authority, the Revenue Commissioners, and other relevant stakeholders. The IAPF actively publish issues through the media and also engages at European level though its membership of PensionsEurope. It informs members of any developments that may affect them in their role of looking after pension savings.
