Ireland’s inward investment promotion agency, the IDA, is a non-commercial, semi-state body promoting Foreign Direct Investment into Ireland through a wide range of services. It partners with potential and existing investors to help them establish or expand their operations in Ireland. IDA manages a total portfolio of more than 1,600 companies employing over 257,300 people in Ireland.

The International Financial Services Division (IFSD) is responsible for promoting the international financial services sector in Ireland and is the primary point of contact for companies wishing to establish or grow a financial services operation in Ireland. This portfolio includes more than 430 companies, employing over 42,000 people undertaking a broad range of front, middle and back office and regulated activities.
