Enterprise Ireland is the Government organisation responsible for the development and growth of Irish enterprises in world markets. They work in partnership with Irish enterprises to help them start, grow, innovate and win export sales in global markets. In this way, they support sustainable economic growth, regional development and secure employment.

Enterprise Ireland has a team of business and specialist advisers based in Ireland, who work with colleagues located in their international office network, to help Irish companies compete for and win international sales. Enterprise Ireland clients are assigned a Development Adviser according to stage of development (e.g. start-up, established or high growth) and sector (e.g. food, pharmaceuticals, international services). Other specialists work with clients to help them achieve global success, for example: Technology Advisers work with companies and research institutions to develop innovation capability and to commercialise research, and Market Advisers work directly with client companies to help them to win export sales in international markets.
