McNamee, Ian
Special Areas:Ian is based in Walkers' Ireland office where he is a partner in the firm's Finance & Capital Markets group. Ian advises on Irish and EU legal and regulatory aspects of the establishment, financing, operation and management of Irish special purpose vehicles and other investment vehicles which acquire a broad range of asset classes (loans, mortgages, receivables, distressed assets, insurance products etc) around the world. Ian also advises on a wide range of finance, direct lending and general corporate matters, distressed investment and other bespoke structured product transactions. Ian has acted for various European, US, and Asian lenders on a number of complex and innovative fund financing solutions including equity bridge facilities, acquisition financings, capital call facilities and NAV based margin loans.Qualifications:BCL, University College CorkDiploma in Finance Law, Law Society of Ireland Memberships:Membership of the Law Society of Ireland
