RSM Ireland
RSM Ireland is one of the top ten firms in the country specialising in providing audit, tax and consulting services. Established in 1987, it formerly traded as Ryan Glennon. It is part of the RSM International network, with over 51,000 people and 860 offices across 123 countries. In 2023 RSM's UK affiliate acquired the Irish business with plans to double its size in three years. In October 2024, RSM Ireland and RSM UK together with RSM US LLP and RSM Canada announced plans to create a transatlantic partnership with a goal to deliver seamless cross-border services for the middle market, with the agreement approved in October 2025 and to be effective from 1st January 2026.
The new transatlantic structure looks to optimise the firms’ ability to serve global clients, develop talent and accelerate growth, while remaining a partner-owned enterprise. It will support aligned governance, including a common approach to financial incentives, client service and future growth investments.
Ireland Managing Partner Niall May said 'I am incredibly excited by this latest step as this partnership will further strengthen RSM Ireland’s transatlantic capabilities, accelerate our continued investment in our marketplace and people, as well as further servicing the needs of our clients as they expand globally.'
May commenting on the firm's latest results said, 'In 2024, the firm’s audit service line delivered another impressive year with a 39% increase in revenues. Tax services grew by 31%, underpinned by a strong advisory performance alongside its core offering to clients. The consulting business reported growth of 12% with particular demand for corporate finance, outsourced business services, forensic investigations and restructuring advisory services.'
