Special Areas:

Hilary has extensive exposure of managing and coordinating volume enforcement projects (including portfolio sales) on behalf of all private Equity firms and financial institutions operating in the Irish market and is uniquely familiar with the practical operational and reporting dynamics associated with this work. Hilary has worked on several development projects which involves coordinating the assembly of design team professionals, project managing planning permission processes, oversight of the construction phase, ongoing monitoring of project budget and variation account, negotiating site resolution plans with local county councils and execution of the ultimate agreed disposal strategy. Hilary has carried out business reviews of companies in financial difficulties on behalf of banks and investors with a view to assessing whether there is a viable proposition to develop turnaround strategies. She has conducted feasibility assessments of business plans on behalf of financial institutions.

Career:

Hilary is the lead partner with specific responsibility for Outsourcing and Financial Management Services in Mazars. Her role involves assisting a wide range of clients, including emerging businesses, established domestic companies and multinational clients operating in various jurisdictions.
Hilary's background and specialist area is in implementing and delivering large-scale outsourced business functions to clients across a diverse range of sectors in a risk-controlled manner. She has extensive experience across various sectors, including construction, property, distribution, retail, medical devices, pharma, foreign direct investment, SME, and not-for-profit.
Hilary supports companies in payroll, accounting, financial reporting and advisory services and specialises in compliance for foreign corporates with operations in Ireland and other overseas jurisdictions.
Hilary has garnered a rounded skillset, having trained in the firm's audit division and has worked extensively across the financial advisory and outsourcing areas over the last 14 years. She is an experienced Insolvency Practitioner with a wealth of experience in all aspects of insolvency, having acted on a substantial portfolio of large-scale assignments, including receiverships, liquidations and examinerships.
