Projects:
Led a team that conducted buy side regulatory due diligence for a listed US company acquiring a global foreign exchange brokerage.
Advised numerous clients with their Brexit planning including managing their EEA authorisation process.
Led a project that reviewed regulatory capital implications of a multinational financial services group under the Capital Requirements Regulations and CRD IV.
Overseen numerous regulatory authorisations to the FCA and Central Bank of Ireland for challenger banks and investment firms.
Undertaken MiFID II GAP analyses for investment firms and subsequent remediation programmes.
Deals and Awards:
Jamie was the chairman of the Executive Committee of the Association of Foreign Exchange and Payment Companies (AFEP) for 3 years and an Executive member for 6 years. AFEP is a leading industry body that represents non-cash based foreign exchange brokers.
Represented FX broking sector at stakeholder liaison group meetings with the FCA in relation to upcoming EU Directives on behalf of AFEP

Jamie is also a former member of the FCA Stakeholder Liaison Group relating to MiFID 2.
Founding member of NI Fintech Working Group in association with Danske Bank.
