Jefferson Cowhig joined EY in 2020 to lead the Financial Services Technology Transformation business in Ireland, bringing with him extensive experience in Banking Technology, Business & Systems Integration, Technology Architecture, Organisation Design and Scaled Agile Delivery Management.

Having graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2005 with a Degree in Computer Science, Jefferson began his career as a software developer and worked for a decade in various technology change roles for RBS, JP Morgan and other large banks. During this time, he lived in Ireland, the UK, Hong Kong and Singapore.

A life-long learner, Jefferson has built his career working on strategically important change programmes for financial services companies and clients. As an experienced leader of people, he has mobilised and led large global delivery teams. Jefferson has also spent an extended period seconded into senior technology line management positions.

Today, Jefferson works alongside CIOs & CTOs to help shape and lead their most complex transformation programmes.

Special interests include Cybersecurity, Machine Learning, Continuous Delivery & IT Organisational Design.
