Career:

Conor Buckley is a Partner within Financial Services (FS) Assurance Ireland, specializing in banking and capital markets. With over 16 years of experience at EY, Conor demonstrates exceptional leadership and expertise in managing complex assurance engagements.

As the engagement partner for a portfolio of banking, fintech and other financial service clients, Conor is known for his industry expertise, proactive and collaborative approach and his dedication to delivering high-quality audits.

An IFRS 9 subject matter expert, Conor has led IFRS 9 implementation projects for major Irish banks in both assurance and consulting roles. He recently served as the PP&A lead for the Asset Quality Review of a significant Dublin-based international bank. Conor's international experience includes three years in the EY Auckland office.

Qualifications:

Conor is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and holds a Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards from the Institute. Conor holds an MBS in Accounting and Corporate Finance from University College Cork.
