Financial Services Regulation [all]
||William Fry's innovative, market leading financial regulation has grown considerably in the past year. We find practical solutions to complex challenges facing our clients in the constantly shifting regulatory landscape. The most important distinguishing feature from our competitors is that we are working on innovative, market leading financial regulatory mandates (both contentious and non-contentious) across every segment of the financial services sector.
Another distinguishing feature from our competitors is our work on landmark regulatory mandates from the Irish government in the FS sector or with a strong FS aspect.
The practice is based on an innovative hub and spoke model with a core group of partners and associates whose practice is either 100% or majority financial regulatory, leading the firm's financial regulation practice and strategy.
The core team is supplemented by a much broader group of partners and associates with significant financial regulatory expertise in their specific segment of the financial services sector.
- Contentious FS regulatory / regulatory enforcement
Non-contentious FS regulatory – Asset Management and Investment Funds
Non-contentious FS regulatory – Insurance
Non-contentious FS regulatory – Banking, Payments and E-Money
||We have advised on some of the most significant mandates to date, including:

Advising BANA and its Irish affiliate, BACSIL, as to their obligations under amended EU Commission Delegated Regulations for UCITS and AIFs relating to safekeeping duties; and preparing and negotiating amendment delegation contracts for each of their safekeeping delegates
