Announcing the 1st edition of the Directory of Northern Ireland's International Financial Services Industry
Fintel Publications is pleased to announce the publication of the first edition of a new Directory listing Northern Ireland's leading international financial services companies, highlighting Northern Ireland as a vibrant and thriving location for the establishment of international financial services enterprises.

The Directory, which is sponsored by The Titanic Quarter, Belfast, is published in both print and online editions and is a showcase of Northern Ireland's cluster of world class financial services and financial technology companies.

It will be published online on this site, and a print version of the page flipping/flash edition is published in the Finance Dublin International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) Yearbook, 2013, in a separate Northern Ireland section. The Finance Dublin Yearbook has has been a primary plank in the promotion of the Republic of Ireland's international financial services industry suince its first edition in 1992. Employment in the IFSC has grown from zero to a sector employing over 30,000 in 25 years, and which has maintained these job levels throughout the years of the international financial crisis, unlike other financial centres. In the first edition of the Directory of the IFSC in 1992, there were some 70 companies. Today, the IFSC has grown to include over 500 companies, with enterprises located in most counties of the Republic.

It is our hope that its counterpart in Northern Ireland will see similar patterns of growth in the future, consolidating the start that has been made in the past several years, and encouraging all-island synergies between the two financial services and professional services sectors on the island, with other parts of the UK as outlined in this article by Invest Northern Ireland's chef executive Alastair Hamilton in the 2012 edition of the Yearbook.
