Donncha Connolly

Director of Regulation and Compliance
Deloitte & Touche
As Director of Regulation and Compliance at Deloitte Donncha assists financial services organisations in understanding and managing their regulatory risks and in achieving compliance. Prior to joining Deloitte Donncha spent nine years working for the Central Bank and the Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority, graduating to the position of Deputy Head of the Securities and Exchanges Department in August 2003. During his career with the Financial Regulator Donncha was extensively involved in the regulation of the Irish Stock Exchange, its member firms and of investment firms authorised under the Investment Intermediaries Act, 1995. He was also involved in negotiations on the MiFID.
