Formerly Sustainable Finance Ireland, the International Sustainable Finance Centre of Excellence (ISFCOE) is committed to positioning Ireland as a leader in sustainable finance, aligning its activities with the Irish Government's "Ireland for Finance" strategy and delivering on annual action plans. As part of this agenda it organises Climate Finance Week Ireland each year.

IFSCOE aims to deliver the skills necessary for the financial services industry to finance a net-zero future. The aim is for the Centre to become an international hub from which the finance industry in Ireland will develop its response to sustainability demands. The Centre aims to play a leading role in research and talent development to respond to sustainability requirements and to facilitate Ireland’s net zero transition. This requires collaboration with a large number of public and private sector stakeholders. In addition, the ISFCOE is a member of the United Nation’s Development Programme (UNDP) Financial Centres for Sustainability (FC4S) Network.
