Career:

Sinéad Colreavy is an FS Ireland Tax partner, and the People Partner on the Irish Leadership Team.

Sinéad joined EY in 2010 as a Tax manager. She is a graduate of accounting and Finance in DCU and grew up in Portmarnock, Co. Dublin.

Working with a wide range of asset management clients, Sinéad has assisted and challenged them to think of new ways to manage local and international tax risk. She has developed tax policies and implemented pragmatic tax governance operating models for her clients.

Sinéad advises both traditional and alternative asset managers, including all fund forms (ICAVs, unit trusts, CCFs and more recently ILPs), fund structuring, securities and portfolio tax issues, permanent establishment risk, due diligence and M&A work. She works with a wide range of asset managers assisting on the set up and implementation of traditional and alternative asset strategies in all fund forms.
Sinéad uses technology to provide innovative solutions that drive greater efficiency, improve tax processes, manage risk and improve work experience and leads our Financial Services Tax Technology and Transformation Offering.

Sinéad's People Partner role focuses on the development and delivery of the EY career proposition. She supports the well-being and success of all our people, enabling the growth and evolution of our business and workforce.

In her role as People partner, Sinéad is passionate about encouraging people to be themselves and achieve their best. Sinéad believes it is important to empower people to allow them to achieve their full potential. Her leadership style is to give opportunities to help people stretch and develop skills, to push people outside of their comfort zone, with encouragement and support.

Memberships:

Sinéad is a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland and Irish Tax Institute. Sinéad participates in two subcommittees of Irish Funds - the International Tax Working Group and ETF Working Group. She is also a member of Basis.Point disbursement committee.
