Special Areas:Financial reporting, auditing services and accounting advice for insurance and reinsurance companies. Tiarnan has a current focus on supporting clients with IFRS 17 and IFRS 9 implementation.Career:Tiarnan has 14 years of financial markets experience primarily in providing assurance and accounting services to insurance and reinsurance clients. Tiarnan is well versed in IFRS, US GAAP and Irish/UK GAAP and has previously worked closely with clients both on the implementation of and reporting for Solvency II.He also has significant non-audit assurance experience including transaction due diligence, agreed upon procedures, attestation reporting, review and recommend reporting, internal audit services, controls assurance and remediation, financial and operational model review and other regulatory reporting. In addition, he has extensive experience in aviation finance, wealth management and securitisations including having held a senior financial and operations role in a top 10 aircraft lessor. Qualifications:Tiarnan holds a first class honours Economics degree from University College Dublin.Memberships:Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
