Special Areas:Paddy Rath is a partner in the firm's Finance and Capital Markets team in Dublin.Paddy specialises in structured finance and securitisation and has acted for a wide range of international financial institutions, investment banks, arrangers, managers, agents, trustees, private equity groups and hedge fund managers on a range of capital markets transactions including, in particular, CLO, ABS and MBS transactions. Paddy also advises a range of Irish and international clients on the establishment, maintenance and financing of Irish loan origination and distressed debt acquisition structures. Paddy has also advised clients in relation to the acquisition, financing and workout of non-performing Irish loan portfolios. Paddy regularly lectures on the topics of structured finance and securitisation on the Law Society of Ireland’s Diploma in Finance Law.
