Special Areas:Turlough has over 20 years' experience within the profession, providing audit and related services to a wide range of industries, working in Ireland, the Cayman Islands and Australia.Turlough assists with leading the financial services team at BDO, with particular expertise in asset management, aircraft leasing and various special-purpose securitisation vehicles. Through working in the Cayman Islands, Turlough has extensive knowledge within the Hedge Fund space and has established strong working relationships with major fund administrators across numerous jurisdictions, whilst coordinating an extensive portfolio of investment fund audits. Turlough has significant experience with both IFRS and US GAAP. Career:Turlough began his career with a mid-tier firm in Dublin. Once qualified, Turlough joined BDO Sydney in 2006, working in Australia for 5 years before joining BDO Cayman Islands in 2011. Turlough returned home to Ireland in 2016 to join the financial services team with BDO Dublin.Qualifications:Bachelor of Business & Economics, Trinity CollegeMemberships:Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland
