Dan is Head of William Fry's Asset Management & Investment Funds Department. He has been a Partner at William Fry since 1981, specialising for 10 years in international mergers and acquisitions. Since establishing the William Fry's funds business in 1991, he has represented the full range of financial services organisations including custodians/trustees, administration and fund management companies and investment funds. Dan frequently advices on governance and regulatory issues and product development.

Qualified 1977. Joined William Fry as a partner in 1981. Specialised in corporate law initially with an emphasis on cross-border mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures. Since the establishment of Dublin's International Financial Services Centre in 1987, he has represented the full range of financial services organisations operating from Ireland and is regularly listed as one of the leading figures in the funds industry in Ireland (Chambers Global).
Dan has made frequent contributions to investment fund publications and is a regular speaker both at international conferences and industry seminars.

Dan is a former Chairman of the Irish Funds Industry Association and was a member of its Council from 2000 to 2006. He is a former member of the Advisory Council of the Institutional Money Market Fund Association. Dan has served as a non-executive director of a number of leading fund management platforms in Ireland and is a frequent presenter at international conferences.
