PwC is one of the largest professional services firms in the world, recording global revenues of US$56.9 billion in 2025, making it the second largest of the top ten accountancy firms. It is also one of the top four accountancy firms in the Republic of Ireland ranked as fourth largest by revenue in the 2025 Accountancy Survey of Finance Dublin. PwC's forerunning firms have been in existence in Ireland since 1866 providing services to Irish and international business in the areas of assurance, taxation and other business advisory services. It historically was the largest accountancy firm on the island of Ireland when account is taken of its separate practice in Northern Ireland.

It employs over 6,000 people in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Kilkenny, Limerick, Waterford, Wexford and Belfast.
