Our Asset Management & Investment Funds Group has significant experience in the establishment and ongoing operations of Irish funds regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland including Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities ("UCITS") and Qualifying Investor Alternative Investment Funds ("QIAIFs") covering all types of strategies and asset classes, as well as the establishment and operation of UCITS management companies and alternative investment fund managers ("AIFMs"). Our team also has experience in advising various fund service providers including administrators, depositaries, and investment managers.
In addition, we also advise on compliance with industry guidance, legislation and codes issued by the Central Bank, prudential requirements and regularly advise clients in relation to Irish authorisation and licensing issues, with a particular focus on MiFID licensing applications and extensions of management company licenses to include MiFID ancillary permissions. |
