Liam McKenna is a Partner in the Consulting Services practice in Mazars. He has significant experience in delivering large change, IT and organisational transformation programmes. These programmes have typically been driven by mandated change in regulated industries or cost reduction and performance improvement and are enabled by changes to operations, organisation structures and technology in various sectors, including financial services, public and private sectors. He is also the lead of Mazars Group Sustainability - Data and Systems services.
Some recent focus areas include GDPR/DPO services, Information Security, Process Improvement, including through Robotic Process Automation, Payments Services License Applications and ESG Metrics and systems.
For the last 15 years Liam has been working in financial services across all of his domains of expertise. Since the start of the financial crises he worked with several banks, initially to support carve-outs of non-core assets and subsequently to meet the increasing regulatory demands. While regulatory driven change remains a key element of Liam's work, as the economic conditions have improved he has supported financial services clients in delivering operational changes to support the business strategy
