Career:

Ramakrishnan Ramanathan is a Partner with EY Ireland Financial Services and has over 24 years of experience in the provision of audit, accounting and advisory services to high-profile international financial services clients. He is also the Assurance Sector Leader for Structured Finance in Ireland.

Ram has been a Partner since 2014 and he has extensive experience of structured finance entities across a variety of investment strategies and international jurisdictions. Ram has wide-ranging experience of structured finance entities, leasing entities and investment funds reporting under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US GAAP.

His clients include some of the US's and Europe's largest banks and fund managers whom he advises on structuring, regulation, valuation issues, accounting and disclosure.

Qualifications:

Ram graduated from Bangalore University with a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and is a fellow of the Associate Chartered Certified Accountants. Ram is a member of the Irish Debt Securities Association and the Irish Association of Corporate Treasurers.
