Career:

John is one of a small number of highly experienced tax professionals advising large scale aircraft financing businesses on aircraft leasing and financing transactions. With 30 years' experience in financial services and tax, he has helped develop and refine many of today's structured products including aviation investment funds, capital market securitizations and lease operating models.

John has provided transaction support and advisory services to aircraft lessors around the globe as well as advising on several platform migrations to Ireland and start-up enterprises. He is trusted advisor to several aircraft lessors and private equity/ capital investors and has advised on several significant market transactions in the aviation space in recent years as well as providing capital market support on structuring of equity and debt financing.

Qualifications:

Having obtained an undergraduate degree and masters in economics and finance from colleges of the National University of Ireland, John is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
