Colin Ryan is the EY Ireland Financial Services Country Leader, responsible for the strategy, operations, business development, and talent of the business. He leads a team of over 1,000 professionals providing integrated solutions across banking, insurance, capital markets, fintech, investment, and wealth management.
Colin has deep expertise in business transformation, operational excellence, digital strategy, and complex end-to-end change programmes. He works closely with leadership teams to design and implement strategies that enhance efficiency, drive innovation, and improve customer outcomes.
As a member of the EY EMEIA Regional Leadership Team, Colin collaborates with global leadership, leveraging EY’s 11,000-strong regional network to help financial services clients in Ireland optimise costs, embrace digitalisation, and navigate industry disruption.

With over 25 years of leadership experience across Financial Services, Public Sector, ICT, and Consumer sectors, Colin has worked with major global clients on large-scale transformation programmes. He previously led EY Ireland Financial Services Consulting practice and has played a key role in shaping Irelands financial services landscape.
Colin is a strong advocate for Irelands position as a leading financial services hub in Europe. He is committed to fostering innovation, supporting regulatory developments, and promoting Ireland as a centre of excellence for sustainable finance and digital financial services.
As an active industry commentator and conference speaker, Colin contributes regularly to Irish and international media on financial services trends, regulatory developments, and Irelands global competitiveness.
