Gerry Beausang is a partner in the Corporate Department in ByrneWallace and Head of the Capital Markets Group.
He has extensive experience in advising on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions (investors, management and corporates), joint ventures, and corporate reorganisations and restructurings. In addition, Gerry has advised businesses in a wide range of sectors in relation to a host of issues arising on their commercial contracts, from negotiations on formation, to contract management and termination. Gerry has also advised a number of well-known Irish family businesses on all manner of transactions, governance and succession planning arrangements.
Prior to joining ByrneWallace, Gerry qualified as a solicitor in a leading City of London law firm and also worked in a leading Dublin law firm. Gerry has lectured in the Law Society of Ireland, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland, and has published articles in various publications including Finance Magazine.
