Chief Administrative Officer, Citi Services Centre Head, Managing Director
Cecilia Ronan is the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and Executive Director for Citibank Europe Plc, which employs 9,000 people across 21 countries with a balance sheet of €50 billion. In her role as CAO for Europe, Cecilia has responsibility for all of Operations and Technology, overseeing strategic priorities, business performance and optimisation. Her role as Executive Director for Citibank Europe Plc gives her responsibility for legal entity management, strategy, governance, product review and controls. In addition, Cecilia oversees the Citi Service Centres in Ireland, Poland and Hungary, leading a team of 6,000 Operations and Technology professionals providing services to 20 countries. Cecilia joined Citi in 2000 as a Senior HR Business Partner, before becoming Head of HR for the Irish Franchise and Citibank Europe Plc. Prior to that, Cecilia worked in Microsoft Ireland and across a range of roles in Government and NGOs in Africa where she grew up. Cecilia has a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) from University College Dublin and a Masters (MSc) in HR from Leicester University. Cecilia is a member of the Board of the National College of Ireland, a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers and a member of the FSI Executive Board.
