The 2006 Conference will have a strong investment focus as its theme and will hence also look at issuance topics, as well as structural, and legal and trustee topics with an investment/trading perspective.
Alongside up to nine key panel discussions featuring global speakers from all disciplines within and outside the industry over the two days November 28th and 29th, the conference will feature a series of keynote speeches, on leading edge topics.
Examples of keynote papers ( to be delivered separately from the panel discussions) will be how Basle II will affect the markets, and the shape of the next credit cycle and how history will and may not repeat itself. A product focus will feature, with special product focused panels featuring traders, investors, issuers, regulators, lawyers and other analysts. The agenda for the conference is that coverage will be focused, but will also be comprehensive, covering the key leading edge investment issues. Within a 24 hour period the conference will be structured to provide a strategic year end overview, with the top minds in the industry.
The conference will build on successes of the event of earlier years, and will provide a showcase for investment banks and service providers, including in investment analytics and investor and trading services, as well as jurisdictional structuring.
The conference's parallel introductory programmes (Securitisation 100 and 200) which were very well received last year will again be chaired by leading banker/academic and prolific credit author Dr Moorad Choudhry.Visiting Professor, Department of Economics, London Metropolitan University, and Visiting Research Fellow, ISMA Centre, University of Reading.
