Aircraft leasing reforms highlighted in Irelandia report on boosting Irish aviation industry

Included in a report aimed at driving growth in Ireland’s aviation industry are three strategic recommendations to boost the sector, described as a jewel in the Irish aviation eco-system by o-authors JOE GILL and EAMON BRENNAN. Writing here, JOE GILL says that the aircraft leasing industry should be the subject of constant policy review, with recommendations such as detailed below regularly emerging.
The commercial aviation industry in Ireland matters for two key reasons; (1) it has become an critically valuable component of the global aviation sector, and (2) it provides a unique connection between the Irish economy and its society with global markets and the Irish diaspora.
