The additional US listing is expected to unlock a number of long-term strategic and capital market benefits for Flutter, including granting access to deeper capital markets and new US domestic investors and providing greater overall liquidity in Flutter shares.
The $33bn US listing is a unique transaction involving an Irish public company and is the Equity Capital Markets Listing Deal of the Year.
The structure used to implement the US Listing is novel and bespoke to Flutter. In particular, the structure allows Flutter to implement the US Listing based solely on a once-off shareholder vote and avoided the need for a scheme of arrangement.
