Multi-billion euro Russian aircraft case underlines Ireland’s growing reputation for handling complex cross-border disputes
One of the annual centrepiece’s of efforts to promote and grow Ireland’s stature as a location for international legal services is Dublin International Disputes Week (DIDW) which took place this year between 30th September to 2nd October. Brian Clarke, chair of the DIDW steering committee, gives insight into DIDW 2024 and picks his highlights from the main conference and gala dinner which were just two of 14 events held across Dublin during the week. He also writes on the ongoing Russian aircraft case in the Irish High Court and what its says about Ireland’s reputation for cross-border disputes.
