More time needed to see full positive impact of insurance reforms
The success of the Government’s Agenda for Insurance Reform has helped to insulate Irish insurance customers from the steep premium rises seen in neighbouring countries writes Insurance Ireland’s Moyagh Murdock. She writes that it is early days with regards the Personal Injury Guidelines, as well as the new Duty of Care Legislation, and says the Courts’ treatment of the latter will be an important indicator of the effectiveness of the reform.
