The acquisition of an Irish-based international payroll tech company by a large US multinational, after just eight years in business, demonstrates the value of thinking globally from the very start. Furthermore, the deal strengthens Immedis position in its marketplace and will support its future growth from its Irish headquarters.
UKG Inc, a US-based software-computer company acquired Immedis Ltd from CluneTech in a deal valued at €575 million. The deal represents a huge success for a business established just eight years ago in response to a growing need from businesses with operations in multiple countries who were finding it increasingly difficult to manage their payrolls and transactions across their different bases.
