The dynamics of world finance and financial centres in a period of disruptive changes

The looming Brexit on March 29th, the evolution of European and global capital markets, and the opportunities for professional services and global financial markets arising form the agenda of The Financial Centres Summit, Dublin, 2018.

Inspiring figures will address the themes of product development, risk management, technology, and the product and jurisdictional platforms of the future in 13 sessions that will hear over 60 globally distinguished experts in global capital markets, portfolio management, funds, banking, credit, and aviation finance. The Summit will address burning issues such as Brexit, fintech regulation, investment fund strategy, legal business oppportunities, clearing and derivatives, aircraft leasing strategies, and the outlook for key financial centres and financial services sectors.

The Summit presents opportunities for delegates to mix at the social events at the Summit which will start with a Welcome Reception on the evening of October 2nd in Castle Hall, Dublin Castle. This will follow the Summit’s Masterclass Workshop, with 'Blockchain' as its theme, that will kick off the Summit with sessions that will examine applications up and running in areas including derivatives contracts, and insurance, moderated by Prof Michael Mainelli, chairman of Z-Yen, publisher of the influential Global Financial Centres Index.
